Statement of Purpose
Technology and for that matter satellite and space education is something thing that is emerging in the world so fast and Ghana not having such technology I thought to pursue such a program in order to also help my country to have such technology. Being the initiator, coordinator and head of the National CanSat program for Ghana having attended such a program has helped me in diverse ways.
Feed Back from CLTP program
First and foremost, the CanSat Leader Training program has broadened my horizon in the area of new technologies being explored now with respect to CanSat. Besides, I have explored and learnt from other researchers and countries (eg. Japan) who have excelled in CanSat programs.
In summary I have really learnt so much from the program and I have no reservation about the whole program
Vision for the future
National workshops and seminars on CanSat
Awareness creation through the universities and high schools
National cansat competition
Sub-Africa CanSat competition in the next 2 years
Building of Ground Station which will also be use as a research facility
To lead a team to design, and build 2 Kg CubeSat in the next 3-5 years
Message for future CLTP participants
Make the full use of the opportunity which has been offered by UNISEC to learn more about CanSat as educational tool.
Moreover, attending the program will enable me to interact with other researchers to share their experience with me on CanSat
