Statement of Purpose

I see the importance of CubeSats as an affordable tool for various space technology applications specially for developing countries like Egypt.
The CLTP fits very well with our accepted project for funding by JICA with title "Feasibility Study on the Development of a Digital Twin-Based Satellite Development and Utilization Platform", where I am acting as a Co-PI for the project.
With the acquired knowledge and skills in CubeSat subsystems development, I am motivated to open research tracks related to CubeSats in my university E-JUST.

Feedback from CLTP14

The CLTP has started several years ago and proves its success. My goals of attending the CLTP are:

  • to learn from experts in the satellite engineering field,
  • to build solid knowledge and skills in CubeSat subsystems development,
  • to develop new connection with scientists in related fields that paves the way for more collaboration in the future.

The course with up to my expectations; the teaching quality, facilities, staff help, and networking opportunities were exceptional.

Vision for the future

Using the acquired knowledge in the CLTP, I am planning to open a new teaching and research track in E-JUST in the field of Nano and Micro Satellites.
This field represent a national priority in Egypt to upgrade the peaceful use of space technology, especially that it has several important applications in Agriculture and Environment such as monitoring the Egyptian coasts and the Nile Basin regions.
I am also plaining to organize CubeSat Training sessions for researchers and students in E-JUST and in the near future in other Egyptian universities and later on in other countries in Africa.

Message for future CLTP participants

I strongly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning the basics of CubeSats in professional and fun environment from experienced and lovely staff.
