The CanSat is a small project that can be implemented in academia in one semester or less. However, it includes all the elements you would face in a real and large scale space project. Hence it is a very good project for aerospace students to prepare them for the real life projects. This is why I’m very much interested in CanSat’s. I joined CLTP3 to spread the CanSat spirit among Egyptian students. I hope I and my students continue collaboration and competition with Japan and all the world.
The program was very well organized. UNISEC and prof. Sahara from TMU were incredibly generous and helpful. Everything we needed could be provided in time.
I suggest holding competitions among CLTP3 participants between themselves and with Japanese students to ignite the competition spirit and maximize learning.
I plan to contribute to CanSat Training Programs (CTP’s) in my country. I hope I and my students could develop new ideas for the CanSat.
CLTP is a great opportunity for you to learn about satellites and space through a small scale and affordable project. Make maximum use of this opportunity and enjoy the Japanese unique way-of-teaching, technology, group work and many other things.
