Present position: Associate Professor, Aerospace Engineering, Cairo University
Field of specialization: Flight Mechanics and Control
Research Interests: Attitude Determination Control Algorithms for Satellites, Vibrations and Control.

Statement of Purpose

As an associate professor in the Aerospace department, faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, in Egypt, I am deeply committed to fostering the development of space technology and education in Egypt. Recognizing the importance of satellite technology in the modern world, particularly along with emerging Egyptian space agency, my primary purpose is to acquire advanced knowledge and skills in satellite development, subsystems understanding, project management, and delivering the new technologies to my undergraduate and postgraduate students. I aim to contribute significantly to the growth of space education and research initiatives in Egypt.

Feedback from CLTP13

The CLTP13 program was a transformative experience, merging theoretical knowledge with practical application. Through concise lectures, extensive hands-on training, and collaborative multidisciplinary and multicultural projects, participants were able to translate academic concepts into the development and operation of physical satellites. This innovative approach significantly enhanced both technical skills and cross-cultural teamwork. The program concluded with two days of teaching practice, reinforcing the intended learning outcomes

Vision for the future

Fostering collaboration between space agencies and universities at both local and international levels to drive innovative space programs. Enhancing global satellite constellations to bring the study and exploration of Earth, other planets, and space within reach of everyday users through their cell phones.
