Statement of Purpose

When I applied for the CLTP, my primary objective was to gain hands-on experience in satellite engineering and expand my knowledge beyond my background in cybersecurity and embedded systems. I saw this program as an opportunity to bridge my technical expertise with space engineering, opening new avenues for research and collaboration. Additionally, I wanted to connect with professionals and fellow enthusiasts who share my passion for advancing space technology. The prospect of learning from industry experts and working alongside an international team greatly motivated me, as I knew it would challenge me to grow both technically and professionally.

Feedback from CLTP13

CLTP13 was an intense yet rewarding experience that pushed me to develop new skills in a highly practical and collaborative setting. Despite my previous work with embedded systems and networking, the intricacies of CubeSat development introduced me to new perspectives on system integration, mission planning, and satellite operations. The hands-on nature of the program allowed me to apply theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios, reinforcing my understanding of space systems. Beyond technical learning, the opportunity to work with passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds was invaluable. The friendships and professional connections I made during this experience will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors in both space engineering and cybersecurity.

Vision for the future

I am eager to build upon the knowledge and skills gained from CLTP13, not only for my personal growth but also to contribute to the advancement of space technology in my region. My goal is to promote awareness and interest in space engineering, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where this field is still emerging. Through education, mentorship, and collaboration, I aim to inspire future engineers and scientists to explore the possibilities of satellite technology and its applications. Additionally, I hope to integrate my expertise in cybersecurity with space systems, exploring ways to enhance the security and resilience of future satellite networks.

Message for future CLTP participants

To future CLTP participants—embrace every challenge and make the most of this unique opportunity! The program is designed to push your limits, but in doing so, it will equip you with invaluable skills and knowledge. Be open to learning from your instructors and peers, as the diverse backgrounds of your fellow participants will enrich your experience. Most importantly, enjoy the journey—CLTP is not just about technical training, but also about building lifelong connections and becoming part of a global community passionate about space.
